- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing gently.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
- Let cool for five minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
