Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
 - 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
 - 1 large sweet onion, diced
 - 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
 - 1 cup heavy cream or whole milk
 - 1 tsp salt
 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
 - 1 tsp paprika
 - 1 tsp dried thyme
 - 2 tbsp butter
 
Instructions
- Chop onions and mince garlic.
 - In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and brown chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side.
 - Remove chicken and add onions and garlic to the skillet; sauté until translucent.
 - Stir in chicken broth, then add cream and seasonings; simmer until thickened.
 - Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
 - Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
