- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Beat in eggs one at a time and then add vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spaced apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow to cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
