- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge each piece in the flour mixture until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Fry chicken for 12-15 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
