- 1 French bread loaf
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the soft interior.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Spread on both halves of the bread.
- Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- While the bread bakes, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with marinara sauce.
- Fill each hollowed-out bread bowl with spaghetti, then top generously with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Return stuffed bread bowls to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
