  • 1 French bread loaf
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the soft interior.
  2. In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Spread on both halves of the bread.
  3. Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While the bread bakes, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with marinara sauce.
  5. Fill each hollowed-out bread bowl with spaghetti, then top generously with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Return stuffed bread bowls to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
