- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
Instructions
- 1. Marinate Chicken: In a large bowl, mix chicken with minced garlic, olive oil, lime juice, cayenne pepper, paprika, and cumin. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Preheat Grill/Skillet: Heat over medium-high heat until hot.
- 3. Cook Chicken: Place marinated chicken onto the grill/skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- 4. Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and hot sauce.
- 5. Glaze & Serve: Brush the sauce on cooked chicken during the last minute of cooking. Slice and serve immediately.
