- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

- 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Incorporate egg and vanilla extract; blend well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries.
- Scoop rounded dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Let cool on the trays for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
