Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until fluffy; gradually mix in sugar.
  4. Add the egg to the butter mixture and blend until smooth.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped strawberries without mashing them.
  7. Drop heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden; cool on wire racks.
  9. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form and serve on top of cookies.
