Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by washing and slicing them. Sprinkle with sugar and let sit.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Add cream and vanilla; stir gently until just combined.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface, shape into a rectangle, and cut out biscuits. Place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Whip additional cream until soft peaks form; add sugar if desired.
- Assemble by slicing biscuits in half, layering strawberries, and topping with whipped cream.
