- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 lb pork sausage (or ground turkey)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds to reduce heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cooked sausage, garlic powder, and chili powder until well-blended.
- Generously fill each jalapeño half with the mixture.
- In another bowl, toss panko breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle over the stuffed peppers.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
