Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb pork sausage (or ground turkey)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds to reduce heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cooked sausage, garlic powder, and chili powder until well-blended.
  4. Generously fill each jalapeño half with the mixture.
  5. In another bowl, toss panko breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle over the stuffed peppers.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
