- 2 cups cooked short-grain sushi rice
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup imitation crab meat (shredded)
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 3 green onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup tempura flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a medium-sized baking dish.
- Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions and mix in a splash of rice vinegar once cooled.
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, imitation crab meat, sriracha sauce, and chopped green onions until creamy.
- Layer half of the sushi rice in the baking dish, followed by the crab mixture. Top with remaining sushi rice and press down gently.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown, then sprinkle tempura flakes on top while hot. Serve immediately.
