  • 1 packet taco seasoning (about 2 tbsp)
  • 1 cup salsa (mild or spicy)
  • 3 cups tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and mix in taco seasoning.
  3. Layer half of the tortilla chips in the baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture, salsa, and cheese.
  4. Repeat layers with remaining chips, beef mixture, salsa, and top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Garnish with sour cream and chopped green onions before serving.
