- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 2 tbsp)
- 1 cup salsa (mild or spicy)
- 3 cups tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and mix in taco seasoning.
- Layer half of the tortilla chips in the baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture, salsa, and cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining chips, beef mixture, salsa, and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with sour cream and chopped green onions before serving.
