- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack blend)
- ¼ cup sour cream (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out crescent dough into a circle on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and salsa; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spoon beef mixture onto the center of the dough. Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Fold dough points over filling towards the center and pinch to seal. Brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before slicing.
