Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by mixing soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Slice flank steak thinly against the grain and marinate in half the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear marinated beef slices for 1-2 minutes on each side until crispy.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and cook until bubbling and slightly thickened.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm over rice or noodles.
