- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
- Optional garnish: cinnamon powder, sliced strawberries or cherries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven as per box instructions and grease your baking dish.
- Prepare the cake mix following package directions and pour into the greased dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together whole milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk.
- Once the cake has cooled slightly, poke holes all over its surface with a fork.
- Slowly drizzle the milk mixture over the cake to soak it thoroughly.
- Spread whipped topping evenly on top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight).
- Serve chilled, garnished with cinnamon or fresh fruit if desired.
