- 1 (12 oz) can chunk light tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup pickles (sweet or dill), chopped
- 4 slices of whole grain bread
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, flake the drained tuna until fluffy.
- Add mayonnaise and Dijon mustard; mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in celery, red onion, and pickles.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread a generous amount of the tuna mixture on one slice of bread, then top with another slice. Cut diagonally and serve immediately.
