  • 2 tbsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add a splash of oil, then sauté chopped onions and bell peppers until soft.
  2. Push the veggies aside and add ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as you go.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Add diced tomatoes with juices, kidney beans, and black beans. Mix well.
  5. Reduce heat to low and let simmer uncovered for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.
