- 9 lasagna noodles (no-boil)
 - 1 lb lean ground beef
 - 3 cups marinara sauce
 - 15 oz ricotta cheese (whole milk)
 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
 - 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
 - 2 large eggs
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain fat and add marinara sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
 - In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, half of the Parmesan, chopped basil, salt, and pepper.
 - Spread some meat sauce at the bottom of a baking dish. Layer with noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers twice more.
 - Finish with remaining meat sauce topped with mozzarella and Parmesan.
 - Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
