  • 1 cup cocoa powder (high-quality)
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter with eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed; fold in half the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Sprinkle remaining marshmallows and chocolate chips over the top and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until puffy.
