- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt cream cheese and stir in heavy cream until smooth. Add garlic and seasonings; simmer gently.
- Fold baked meatballs into the sauce and let simmer for five minutes.
- Spoon meatballs and sauce into hoagie rolls; drizzle with extra sauce if desired and garnish with parsley before serving.
