  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt cream cheese and stir in heavy cream until smooth. Add garlic and seasonings; simmer gently.
  5. Fold baked meatballs into the sauce and let simmer for five minutes.
  6. Spoon meatballs and sauce into hoagie rolls; drizzle with extra sauce if desired and garnish with parsley before serving.
