  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 8 flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with taco seasoning.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then shred the chicken using two forks.
  4. Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave until soft.
