- Ribeye or Sirloin Steak
- Unsalted Butter
- Fresh Garlic
- Fresh Herbs (Thyme or Rosemary)
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
- Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
- Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness, adjusting time to your preference.
- When flipping the steak, add unsalted butter along with crushed garlic and fresh herbs; baste the steak with melted butter as it cooks.
- Once done, transfer the steak to a plate and let it rest for at least five minutes before slicing against the grain.
- Serve with your choice of sides and drizzle some melted garlic butter on top.
