- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel (if desired) the potatoes; cut them into uniform chunks.
- In a large bowl, toss the potato pieces with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings until evenly coated.
- Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer to avoid steaming.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
- In the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for added flavor (optional).
- Remove when golden brown and crispy; serve immediately.
