- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Juice the lemons until you have 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
- In a large pitcher, dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 4 cups of cold water by stirring for about 2 minutes.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher and stir well.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with more sugar or lemon juice if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving over ice. Garnish with mint leaves if you like.
