- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1 cup milk of choice (almond, oat, whole)
- 1–2 tsp sweetener (honey or agave syrup)
- Ice cubes (large)
Instructions
- Sift 2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl to eliminate clumps. Add a splash of hot water (just off the boil) and whisk vigorously until frothy.
- Sweeten the matcha mixture with 1-2 teaspoons of honey or agave syrup, whisking until fully dissolved.
- Fill a tall glass halfway with large ice cubes to minimize dilution.
- Pour the whisked matcha over the ice and gently add your choice of milk on top.
- Stir lightly to combine and enjoy immediately.
