- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup granulated sugar (or honey)
- 3 fresh lemons (juiced)
- 4 cups cold water
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and steep 4 black tea bags for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar while the tea is warm until dissolved.
- Squeeze the juice from 3 fresh lemons into the mixture, straining out any seeds.
- Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir well. Refrigerate for at least one hour to chill.
- Serve over ice, garnished with mint leaves or lemon slices.
