- 4 large fresh oranges (juiced)
 - 3 medium carrots (peeled and chopped)
 - 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root (peeled)
 - 1/2 cup cold filtered water
 - Ice cubes (optional)
 
Instructions
- Wash the oranges and carrots thoroughly under running water.
 - Peel the ginger using a spoon.
 - Slice the oranges in half and chop the carrots into smaller pieces.
 - In a blender, combine the orange halves, carrot pieces, peeled ginger root, and cold water. Blend until smooth.
 - Optional: Strain through a fine mesh strainer for a smoother texture.
 - Pour over ice cubes in glasses if desired and garnish with an orange slice.
