- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup granulated sugar (or honey)
- 2–3 ripe peaches, chopped
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Mint leaves (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and steep black tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Stir in granulated sugar until completely dissolved while the tea is still warm.
- Blend chopped peaches until smooth to create a puree.
- In a large pitcher, combine cooled sweetened tea, peach puree, and lemon juice.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving over ice, garnishing with mint leaves if desired.
