- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
 - 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
 - 1 cup fresh mint leaves
 - 4 cups filtered water
 - Optional: Sparkling water for fizz
 
Instructions
- Rinse strawberries and mint leaves under cold water. Slice strawberries into halves.
 - In a large pitcher, muddle mint leaves with 1 tablespoon of sugar until fragrant.
 - Add sliced strawberries and an additional tablespoon of sugar; gently mash to combine.
 - Squeeze in lemon juice until you have about one cup.
 - Pour in 4 cups of cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness as needed.
 - Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving over ice with garnishes of mint and strawberry slices.
