  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • Optional: Sparkling water for fizz

Instructions

  1. Rinse strawberries and mint leaves under cold water. Slice strawberries into halves.
  2. In a large pitcher, muddle mint leaves with 1 tablespoon of sugar until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced strawberries and an additional tablespoon of sugar; gently mash to combine.
  4. Squeeze in lemon juice until you have about one cup.
  5. Pour in 4 cups of cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness as needed.
  6. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving over ice with garnishes of mint and strawberry slices.
