- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
- 4 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 8 butter lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, brown sugar, and gochugaru until combined. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Marinate the Beef: Place sliced beef in a resealable bag with marinade. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Heat Your Grill: Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the Beef: Cook marinated beef strips on the grill in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side until charred and cooked through.
- Prepare Lettuce Wraps: Wash and dry butter lettuce leaves to use as wraps.
- Serve & Enjoy: Transfer grilled beef to a platter and serve with lettuce leaves, green onions, and sesame seeds.
