- 4 slices thick-cut turkey bacon
- 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 4 leaves romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 4 slices whole grain bread
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 7-10 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway through.
- While the bacon cooks, slice the tomatoes and wash the lettuce leaves.
- Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toast.
- Layer crispy turkey bacon, lettuce, and tomato on one slice before topping with another slice.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
