Ingredients
Scale

- 1 lb ground turkey
 - 1 cup bread crumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned)
 - ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
 - 1 large egg
 - 2 tsp garlic powder
 - ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
 - ¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
 - 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (for cooking)
 - 2 cups tomato sauce (jarred or homemade)

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
 - Form the mixture into meatballs about 1-2 inches in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches without overcrowding. Sear until golden brown on all sides (about 5 minutes).
 - Pour tomato sauce over the browned meatballs in the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
 - Serve hot over spaghetti or in sub rolls topped with cheese.
