Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning over cooked beef; add about half a cup of water and let simmer on low heat for approximately 5 minutes until thickened.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create the salsa; set aside.
- Warm tortillas in another skillet or directly over an open flame for about one minute on each side until soft and pliable.
- Assemble tacos by spooning seasoned beef onto each tortilla and topping generously with fresh salsa and any desired toppings.
