Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, washed and dried
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly using a salad spinner or paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of Caesar dressing with freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce with the dressing and toss gently until evenly coated.
  4. Add croutons and remaining parmesan cheese, tossing lightly to mix without crushing the croutons.
  5. Serve immediately on plates or in bowls, topped with extra parmesan shavings and black pepper.
