- 1 head romaine lettuce, washed and dried
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly using a salad spinner or paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of Caesar dressing with freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
- In a large bowl, combine the lettuce with the dressing and toss gently until evenly coated.
- Add croutons and remaining parmesan cheese, tossing lightly to mix without crushing the croutons.
- Serve immediately on plates or in bowls, topped with extra parmesan shavings and black pepper.
