- 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
- 4 slices American cheese (or your choice of cheese)
- 4 brioche buns
- 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
- 1 medium ripe tomato, sliced
- 1 small sweet onion, sliced
- 4 dill pickles, sliced
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper; form into four patties about 3/4 inch thick, making an indent in the center.
- Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness; add cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast brioche buns cut-side down on the grill for about 1 minute until golden brown.
- Assemble burgers by layering lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and the cheesy patty; finish with ketchup and mustard.
