  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (whole milk)
  • 1 cup pasta sauce (jarred or homemade)
  • Toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, etc.) as desired

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast until frothy. Add flour, olive oil, and salt; combine into a sticky dough.
  2. Knead on a floured surface for about five minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours until doubled.
  3. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Grease a deep-dish pizza pan with olive oil.
  4. Roll out the risen dough into a large circle and press it into the bottom and sides of the pan.
  5. Layer mozzarella evenly across the bottom, add desired toppings, then spoon pasta sauce generously over everything.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
