- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers (red and green), thinly sliced
- 4 oz provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the ribeye steak against the grain for tenderness. Thinly slice the onions and bell peppers.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers; cook until soft and golden brown (5-7 minutes).
- Push vegetables to one side of the skillet and add ribeye slices. Cook until browned (3-5 minutes), seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Layer provolone cheese over the cooked steak, covering it until melted (1-2 minutes).
- Cut hoagie rolls lengthwise without slicing all the way through. Fill each roll generously with the steak mixture.
- Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Philly cheese steak sandwiches!
