  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  2. Sauté the onions and bell peppers until onions are translucent (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add the ribeye slices to the skillet and cook until browned but juicy (3-5 minutes).
  4. Layer provolone cheese on top of the steak mixture, cover, and cook until melted (2-3 minutes).
  5. Butter the inside of hoagie rolls and toast them until golden brown.
  6. Assemble by filling the rolls with the cheesy steak mixture.
