- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers (any color), sliced
- 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Sauté the onions and bell peppers until onions are translucent (5-7 minutes).
- Add the ribeye slices to the skillet and cook until browned but juicy (3-5 minutes).
- Layer provolone cheese on top of the steak mixture, cover, and cook until melted (2-3 minutes).
- Butter the inside of hoagie rolls and toast them until golden brown.
- Assemble by filling the rolls with the cheesy steak mixture.
