Instructions
- Boil the Pasta: In a large pot of salted water, cook spaghetti until al dente (8-10 minutes). Stir occasionally.
- Sauté Garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Prepare Lemon: Zest and juice lemons, ensuring no seeds remain.
- Combine Sauce: Add lemon juice and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Simmer gently for 1-2 minutes while stirring.
- Toss Pasta: Drain spaghetti, reserving some pasta water. Add spaghetti to the skillet with lemon sauce and zest. Toss until well combined.
- Finish Dish: Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Garnish with basil, salt, and pepper before serving.
