  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, salt, and pepper. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil until shimmering.
  3. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown (internal temperature of 165°F).
  4. Remove the chicken and add broth, honey/maple syrup, and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan; simmer for another minute until coated in sauce.
