  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, smoked paprika, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover tightly and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 1 hour for best results).
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and let excess drip off. Place onto the preheated grill.
  5. Grill each side for about 6–7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Chicken should release easily from the grill grates.
  6. Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with grilled vegetables or salad.
