- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F/190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, smoked paprika, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover tightly and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 1 hour for best results).
- Remove chicken from the marinade and let excess drip off. Place onto the preheated grill.
- Grill each side for about 6–7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Chicken should release easily from the grill grates.
- Allow chicken to rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with grilled vegetables or salad.
