Instructions
- Slice onions into ¼-inch thick rings and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat eggs until fluffy; gradually mix with dry ingredients until just combined.
- Dip each onion ring into the batter, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F. Fry onion rings in batches until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
