  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each piece is fully coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill to about 400°F (200°C).
  5. Remove chicken from the marinade (discard leftover marinade) and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the grilled chicken rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
