- 2 (6 oz) cans wild-caught salmon, drained and flaked
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and flake the drained salmon in a large bowl.
- Add breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into round patties about 1 inch thick using wet hands to prevent sticking.
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Fry patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels briefly to absorb excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
