- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly against the grain
- 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), chopped
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
Instructions
- Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Sauté the vegetables: Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell peppers and broccoli; cook for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright and slightly tender.
- Cook the beef: Push the vegetables aside and add marinated beef to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned on all sides.
- Combine flavors: Pour any leftover marinade and sesame oil over the stir fry. Stir everything together for another minute until heated through.
- Serve: Plate over rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
