Why You Should DEEP FRY On Your Gas Grill

It's easy to learn how to fry on your gas grill and it comes with big benefits. If you fry inside your home, the smell can linger for days and often coats most of the kitchen in frying oil, but If you fry outside on your gas grill, you do it in a self cleaning oven with no lingering smells or mess. There is another huge advantage to deep frying on your gas grill that I share in this video. Can you guess what it is?

This video isn't meant to show you how to deep fry catfish cajun style, but I use it as an example of something that you could deep fry on your gas grill. This method would work great for fries for homemade fried chicken.

I prefer to use cat iron to fry food because it holds in the heat and is oven (and grill!) safe. Mrs. GTE won't let me use her enameled cast iron pan on the grill, so I have my own.
