Instructions
- In a bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and dredge in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown on both sides, about six minutes each side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, warm honey and chili flakes to create the hot honey sauce.
- Assemble by splitting each biscuit, placing fried chicken inside, and drizzling with hot honey before topping.
