- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 4 slices crispy bacon (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot, add the rotini, and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté Beef and Onion: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add Sauces: Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to blend flavors.
- Combine: Add drained pasta to the skillet, mixing well until coated with the sauce.
- Melt Cheese: Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the pasta mixture. Cover with a lid and let it sit on low heat for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve: Dish out portions and top with bacon bits or pickles if desired.
