- 1 cup buttermilk

- 1/2 cup maple syrup

Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs in a mixture of buttermilk, salt, pepper, and paprika for at least 1 hour.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, milk, eggs, and melted butter to make the waffle batter.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry marinated chicken for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Preheat your waffle iron and cook the waffle batter according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Serve warm waffles topped with fried chicken and drizzle with maple syrup.
