- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (toasted preferred)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)
Instructions
- Chop cabbage into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic and ginger.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes until no pink remains.
- Stir in minced garlic and ginger; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add chopped cabbage along with soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir-fry for approximately 3-4 minutes until cabbage is slightly wilted but retains some crunch.
- Add red pepper flakes if desired; adjust seasoning as needed.
- Plate the stir-fry, topping with chopped green onions. Enjoy as-is or serve over rice or noodles.
